1. Introduction
NetYogi Private Limited ("NetYogi", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your data when you use the NetYogi platform at netyogi.in.
This policy complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 of India, as well as applicable international data protection standards including GDPR where applicable.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
Account & Identity Data
Name, email address, profile picture — collected via Google OAuth sign-in. We do not store your Google password.
Business Data
Business name, category, city, logo, brand colours, tagline — provided by you during onboarding and use of the platform.
Usage & Activity Data
Features used, AI content generated, credits spent, search queries, saved leads — to operate and improve the service.
Payment Data
Payment amount, plan name, Razorpay transaction ID — we do not store card numbers or banking details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay.
Technical Data
Browser type, device type, IP address, timezone, locale — collected automatically for security and localisation purposes.
AI Conversation Data
Messages sent to the nYogi AI assistant — stored securely in your account to provide conversation continuity. You may request deletion at any time.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your NetYogi account
- To provide AI content generation, lead discovery, and business intelligence features
- To process payments and send transaction confirmation emails via Amazon SES
- To send service-related notifications (not marketing without consent)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
- To improve platform features using anonymised usage analytics
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling beyond what is necessary to deliver the NetYogi service.

NetYogi integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, primarily in the us-central1 (Iowa, USA) region. Firebase provides enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit using AES-256 and TLS 1.2+.
We implement access controls ensuring users can only access their own data. Admin access is restricted to authorised NetYogi personnel only. We conduct periodic security reviews of our Firestore security rules and API access controls.
Despite our security measures, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
6. Cookies & Tracking
NetYogi uses essential cookies for authentication (Firebase session cookie `__session`) and platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics in anonymised mode to understand platform usage patterns. You may opt out of analytics tracking by using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability — Request export of your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — Object to processing of your data for non-essential purposes

8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records required under Indian tax law for 7 years).
AI-generated content, chat history, and uploaded files are deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
9. Children's Privacy
NetYogi is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at admin@netyogi.in.
